Lt. Col. A. Sekhar is a distinguished soldier-educationist with nearly four decades of leadership experience spanning the Armed Forces, education, and academia. A postgraduate in Chemistry and English, he has built an exemplary career marked by excellence in administration, academics, and institutional leadership.
During his distinguished military career, he held several prestigious positions, including leadership roles in Sainik and Military Schools, served as an Instructor at the Indian Military Academy, and held senior administrative positions as Registrar of autonomous colleges.
Following his premature retirement from the Army, he joined Atul (CSR) Ltd. as Director (Education and Empowerment), where he established the Atul Institute of Vocational Excellence from the ground up. He subsequently served in senior leadership positions with the Alpha Group of Institutions, Trichy; Aditanar Educational Institutions; Hyderabad Public School, Kadapa; and Universal Group of Institutions.
He has now joined as the CEO of Indirapuram Group of Institutions, bringing with him vast experience, visionary leadership, and a deep understanding of education. His leadership is expected to further strengthen and enrich the Group's schools and colleges.
A respected thought leader, speaker, moderator, and presenter, Lt. Col. Sekhar is regularly invited to address conferences, academic forums, and educational platforms.
